BOXY LOCKERS – Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the Boxy Lockers application or our website at boxylockers.com. Using the application or making a booking constitutes your unconditional acceptance of these Terms.
1. General Information
Boxy Lockers provides automated smart lockers for short-term rental. Through the application or website, users can select a locker size, set the rental duration, complete payment, and receive an access code for their exclusive use.
2. User Eligibility
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent.
- Provide truthful and accurate information when registering or booking.
- Have a valid payment method accepted by the platform.
- Not have been previously banned from using the service due to a violation of these Terms.
3. Booking and Access Process
3.1 Booking
A booking is only completed after successful payment processing. Once confirmed, the user receives the following by email:
- A unique numeric code (PIN) to open the locker.
- An access code for the entrance door of the premises.
- Booking details (locker size, duration, expiry time).
3.2 Locker Access
Access to the locker is available via one of the following methods:
- Entering the PIN on the locker keypad.
- Bluetooth unlock through the application (requires an active Bluetooth connection and an active rental).
The user is solely responsible for keeping the access code secure and must not share it with third parties.
3.3 End of Rental
Upon expiry of the rental period, the access code is automatically deactivated. The user must ensure the locker is emptied before the expiry time.
4. Locker Sizes and Pricing
The following locker sizes are available:
- Medium – For small personal items.
- Large – For briefcases and small bags.
- XLarge – For cabin luggage.
- Room – For large luggage or multiple items.
Prices include VAT where applicable. The charge is based on the selected duration at the time of booking.
5. Payments and Refunds
5.1 Payments
Payments are processed through the Stripe platform. Boxy Lockers does not store card details — these are managed exclusively by Stripe in full PCI-DSS compliance.
5.2 Refunds
- Refunds are not provided except in cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, war).
Refund requests are accepted only via email at info@boxylockers.com.
6. User Obligations
When using the locker, the user assumes sole responsibility for stored items and must:
- Not store illegal items, hazardous substances, explosives, flammable materials, or perishable food.
- Not store animals or living beings.
- Not use the locker for commercial storage purposes.
- Leave the locker clean and in good condition after use.
- Report any damage or malfunction immediately.
Violation of any of the above obligations entitles Boxy Lockers to cancel the rental without a refund and to ban the user from future bookings.
7. Items Remaining After Expiry
If items remain in the locker after the rental period has ended:
- An email notification will be sent to the user.
- The user has 48 hours to collect their items.
- After 48 hours, Boxy Lockers bears no responsibility for any remaining items.
8. Liability and Disclaimer
Boxy Lockers does not guarantee the absolute security of stored items. Specifically:
- It is not liable for theft, vandalism, or damage to items resulting from circumstances beyond its control.
- It is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
- Its liability in any case is limited to the amount paid by the user for the specific booking.
We recommend not storing items of significant value or irreplaceable items in the lockers.
9. Technical Issues and Support
In the event of a technical malfunction, please contact us immediately:

If the issue cannot be resolved, the user is entitled to a full refund.
10. Privacy and Data
- We collect only the data necessary to provide the service (email, booking details, usage history).
- We do not sell personal data to third parties.
- Financial data is subject to Stripe’s privacy policy.
- Users have the right to access, correct, and delete their data by submitting a request to info@boxylockers.com.
11. User Account
- You are responsible for the security of your password.
- Any activity from your account is considered to have been performed by you.
- Notify us immediately in the event of unauthorized use.
12. Amendments to the Terms
Boxy Lockers reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes take effect from the moment they are published on the website. Continued use of the service after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by Greek law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thessaloniki. Prior to taking legal action, we encourage the out-of-court resolution of disputes by contacting us at info@boxylockers.com.
